About The Event

Premaculture retreat

A Permaculture retreat with Yoga, Bhakti and Ayurveda

Premaculture is a new way of farming combining the ecological and sustainable principles of permaculture with the loving devotion cultivated in India’s ancient Bhakti tradition.

The Premaculture retreat is a 3 days immersion in a natural and spiritual environment centered on self-realization and living in harmony with nature. It’s a break in time experience for anybody who wants to reconnect with mother earth and flow with her natural cycles. You will learn how to apply permaculture’s principles with love and devotion in an international renowned yoga retreat center. A great moment to tune your mind with nature and root your hand back in the ground. The retreat takes place in the spiritual Radhadesh community (Ardennes, Belgium), the perfect location in the heart of the Ardennes to relax and find yourself in the peaceful nature. The Premaculture project started in 2020 in Radhadesh. It’s now a one acre farm, always expanding and aiming to feed the 120 residents of the community in the upcoming years. It demonstrates how to grow a large variety of plants (vegetables, fruits, herbs, aromatics, trees) from seeds to seeds along the year independently from any external resources (fuel, electricity, water, soil, seeds, seedlings). The goal of the project is to reach self-sufficiency for the community in the next few years and to teach people how to apply it at home. You can visit our website here:

Thibaut is a permaculture farmer and biologist teacher from Belgium. He studied life sciences at university and in the field for 8 years. He was trained as a permaculture farmer at the Permaculture Institute of Australia with Tom Kendall & Geoff Lawton and received the Permaculture Design Certificate in January 2016. He practiced permaculture in many places in Australia, India, Nepal and Belgium. Back in 2020, he created the Premaculture project in Radhadesh inspired by the Bhakti tradition and the wonderful Radhadesh community.
